Zhang Xiaodong - Vocal teacher

Zhang Xiaodong, young tenor singer.

Learning experience:
Mr. Xiao Yuqian, a tenor from the Shanghai Opera House, Professor Gan Guoxuan of Sichuan Conservatory of Music, Roelof Oostwoud, Nancy Hermiston, UBC School of Music. In 2004 with the country's first professional results into the Sichuan Conservatory of Music Vocal Music Department, in 2008 and graduated with the first professional results, in 2010 won the UBC Academy of Music Master of Opera full scholarship. Graduated in 2012 with a first-place performance in opera (the only international student to receive the UBC Academy of Music Award).

Work experience:
He has served as a contract singer at the Vancouver Opera House and as a vocal assistant at the UBC Academy of Music. He teaches in the Department of Vocal Music, School of Music, Shandong University. Opera investor broker, member of Shandong Musicians Association, member of Chinese Musicians Association.

Award-winning experience:
He won the North American Gold Award for the Vocal Competition of the Metropolitan Opera.
