Henry (Liang Hanwen)

A lyrical baritone, he served as the assistant conductor of the Beiyang Choir of Tianjin University and the Student Choir of Nankai University from 2010 to 2012. He studied chorus with Professor Ren Baoping, the executive director of the Chinese Chorus Association, and Professor Meng Chaomei, the director of the Music Education Professional Committee of the Chinese Higher Education Association Conductor and chorus sound system theory. He has won three awards in the National Art Student Competition in the vocal music and bel canto category in the 2012 National Art Examination.

Later, he entered Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine and served as the head and assistant conductor of the school choir. After obtaining a degree in pharmacy, he immigrated to Canada and entered the vocal music department of the KPU Conservatory of Music to study with Gail Suderman, the dean of the Conservatory of Music. In 2018, he was admitted to the UBC Opera Performance Department and studied with the famous local lyrical baritone singer Dale Throness until now, and has appeared in "Les contes d'Hoffmann" (The Tales of Hoffmann), "Passazhirka" (The Passenger), etc. Large-scale opera.
